Rocky Mountain News became a tabloid

He was also a reporter, night editor, managing editor, and eventually became publisher. Following Tammen's passing, his wife Helen and daughter May became the primary owners of the Post. The Denver Post and the Denver News merged their operations in 1983, creating the Denver Newspaper Agency.
